This disc has terrible picture quality. There are many scratches
on the film and the color is faded and overly bright. I could tell
that it wasn't made from a video source, though. The screen printing
on the disc looked better!
Sound
The sound isn't great. Somewhat crackly and hissy and a little
tinny. WEG must have used an old projection print, rather than
using a restored version.
Menu/Extras
This disc has a pretty good menu. There are chapter stops for
certain scenes, which you can jump to from the menu. Standard
fare. Included are "coming soon" trailers for "Mere Sapnon Ki Rani" and "Zanjeer", which look like they are taken from video.
Overall
Avoid this disc. The movie is bad, the quality is bad. The
whole thing is a big let down. At least I only wasted about $3
on a rental of "Amir Garib."
