The picture isn't as good as movie discs because the concert was recorded on video, but it's not bad. It's better than my VHS copy. A little artifacting, both video and digital, is apparent. Who watches this disc for the video quality though?
Sound
Excellent sound. Every instrument can be heard clearly.
Menu/Extras
The menu includes song selections, the option to play the concert, and an "also available" section featuring one disc of hit songs.
Overall
If you love carnatic music or want to hear a little about it, get this disc. M.S. Subbulakshmi is in her 80s, yet she sings with fervour and enthusiasm. Well done, Super Digital!
