Fair picture. Many scratches and lines on the print. The
picture is pretty bad for a film that was made in 1978. Looks
like the company didn't restore this film to pristine condition.
Still, the picture noise is tolerable. Not as good as other
Media Digital titles, but it isn't horrible.
Sound
The soundtrack is good. The songs, like most titles probably,
sound better than the rest of the soundtrack. Some minimal
hiss and crackle here and there but it is very tolerable and
you would have to concentrate and listen for it to notice.
Menu/Extras
Very nice menus, with stills from each song to select from, to
pick what song you want to hear. There is also a "Coming Soon"
feature for an upcoming vintage songs collection (now available).
An "Also Available" menu is also provided, although their
website shows a few more titles than on the menu.
Overall
A great disc for a great movie. This is definitely a good buy if you like this film. I hope to see more classics from Media Digital.
