Picture
Excellent picture. Colors are dead on and there are very few ticks and scratches. The picture quality is consistent throughout the songs from all 4 films. Considering that everything was compressed onto a single layer disc, the picture deserves a few more points.
Sound
Very clear DD 2 channel mono. Some of the songs on "Jai Santoshi Maa" get a little distorted at the louder portions, but for the most part, is good.
Menu/Extras
The root menu has each film and a still from it, which are buttons leading to their respective songs. The screens with the songs are interesting, with a photomontage in the background. At the bottom of each menu screen are the other movies whose songs are on here. This is very useful. For example, if you are in the menu for "Jai Santoshi Maa" and you want to check out the songs from "Amar Prem", there is a button for "Amar Prem" at the bottom of the "JSM" menu, as well as buttons for the other 3 movies.
Overall
"Saregama" is an excellent buy. It isn't just a mix of random songs, but has every song from four films. I can't wait for the next volume!
